New and Improved
Description: This is the new layout at Lone Star MX. Tex D and I worked our butts off this weekend getting this place turned around. It's still not complete but it's dang close now. When it's done it will be an all out MX Playground. Added were two catapults (60ft and 70ft), two kicker doubles, a double-double rhythm section, couple of new berms and a few other odds and ends. This is the the 60ft'er.

Bring It
Description: Bring your preload technique with you. Most the jumps are short and kinda steep. They can be jumped normally but preloading is a necessity to keep the nose down.

Quizno's Sub Puppet?
Description: Ok, what the hell is this thing? I'm guessing it's an aborted fetus. My buddy Randy Ivey thinks it's an atomic rat. Maybe it's an aborted atomic rat fetus??? Who knows but one things for sure, it creeps me OUT! "We like the subs... cuz they are good....."

Rhythm Section
Description: A fourpack of doubles which will eventually be a sixpack. Lone Star got shorted a few loads of dirt Saturday but that is changing.

Lone Star Proof
Description: Another angle of the rhythm section. This first double is about 15yrds out of a hard right hander. The doubles are roughly 35feet. We had to shrink the landings a bit in fear of running out of dirt.. which happened. Things are a changin' though.

No Skills
Description: And we can't forget the FMX ramp for those that feel the need. That brings up a point: To me there are two types of riders; Potential and Kinetic. I would be a Potential Rider and sometimes I can be lazy. I require a catalyst to get things going nowadays. That can be a cool track, ambition, anger, good music.. whatever. However I have good and bad days just like anyone else. But mistaking the lack of potential is just plain ignorant. There are days when I feel like haulin, there are days when I just dont care about being on a bike which have been more as of late. Damn people can be judgmental sometimes.

For Arguments Sake
Description: Charlie and I had a minor disagreement about this image and the prior image. I say the prior is flat, he says this one is flat. Of course I'm typing this in the car as we're driving back from dinner (Pho!) so I'm not exactly playing with a full deck today.

Coming At Ya
Description: Looking at this photo makes me really respect Charlies camera. There's a 30 foot gap and a 30 foot table in this image but that telescopic lens brings things up in your face. Anyway Tex was expecting 30 loads of dirt. He got about 20. However the track is coming around so if you're interested let me know. He's accepting memberships and is stoked to have people out. Everyone from beginners to pro's. We'll keep working hard and making improvements. Criticism and recommendations are always welcome too. I'll keep ya posted when things are 100% complete. Oh yeah and special props to Charles for taking the time to come with today. I literally dragged him out of work! See ya.
