There is so much history in this photo, it's not even funny. This is how it all began. Me riding a minibike in the 1980's, Charles doing the freestyle thing. At some point in 1990 we met and he introduced me to this flatland concept of freestyle. I wasn't riding any MX at the time and it just kinda took off from there. Here it is some 14 years later and we're still going at it. Both of us are old and kinda broken now but we still enjoy getting together and bashing it out. Charles is one my closest friends and is responsible for several things on this website. He is the photographer (responsible for 90% of the photos) and is also the webmaster and is soley responsible for making me get off my lazy ass and create 11000rpm.com. For those that have witnessed his photography on 11000rpm can tell you he's no slouch with a camera. He's also a badass on two wheels. I'm stoked to be able to show what got us started and to share some of his other talents that have gone unseen by most. Here he is laying a Opposite Elbow-Glide and prepping for the upcoming Hitchhiker. |
