Dedicate Description: I am going to dedicate this photo to Billy Davis. We were playing around on a kicker double that ended up biting him a little bit. He made a dang good effort to save it and things could've been alot worse. Someone at Shady made mention they refaced the big stepup so I wanted to test the changes. After watching Billie's heroic effort in not killing himself inspired me to hit this jump cautiously... but dang that lip was sweet!!! Billy hope you aren't hurting too bad today. First Attempt Description: They did in fact reface this thing. This was one of our first attempts at it. You can't see the takeoff in the photo. For those that haven't been to Shady, the takeoff is a stepup kicker that can't be made out in this picture (far right and 10ft below table/flat portion of jump). The landing is a bit painful. The guy standing on the far left of this photo was marking our landing from the previous jump. Going for distance.... going for speed.... Scrub 2 Description: This is the 2nd photo/stage of the above photo (Scrub 1). There is hard right hander coming up to this jump/kicker. If you can hit the corner hard enough you dont have to give it throttle to get over the kicker. Guess you'll have to see it to understand. Oh sorry for the grainy photos. Sponge Description: We must have had 3inches of rain last week and this place is as dry as a bone. It doesn't make sense. Anyhoo, whips are beginning to get slippery because of it. The ground is packed down from quads so traction is scarce. I crashed on this terrafirma yesterday and it felt like I was run over with a truck the next day. Hard as a freakin rock.
